Audrey Brauer and
Brianna Pohlman scored the Illinois College women's tennis team's lone points in a 7-2 loss to visiting Knox College on Tuesday at the Bellatti Tennis Complex in Jacksonville.
Brauer won her No. 4 singles match, while Pohlman was victorious in a No. 6 singles match. Illinois College's
Tamar Norville,
Holly Woelfel,
Zippy Abdulmalik and
Jovanna Chavez all came up short in singles play. The doubles teams of Norville and Woelfel, Abdulmalik and Brauer, and Pohlman and Chavez also suffered losses.
The Lady Blues fell to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in Midwest Conference South Division play with the loss. They are back in action Thursday at Millikin University.
