Women's tennis tops Millikin, 6-3

The Illinois College women's tennis team won its second match in as many days Thursday as the Lady Blues topped visiting Millikin University, 6-3, at the Bellatti Tennis Complex.

Tamar Norville, Holly Woelfel, Audrey Brauer and Jovanna Chavez were all winners in singles play for the Lady Blues. The doubles teams of Zippy Abdulmalik and Brauer, and Brianna Pohlman and Chavez were also winners.

The Lady Blues improved to 2-1 with the win. The Lady Blues are back in action on September 24 when they host Knox College.
