Lady Blues play to 1-1 tie with Fontbonne

Kaylen Sims scored in the 75th minute and the Illinois College women's soccer team took a 1-1 tie against visiting Fontbonne University on Wednesday. No overtime periods were played, due to darkness.

Fontbonne scored the first goal of the match in the 59th minute, but Sims' shot from distance tied things up. Ashley Riley and Sarah Stover assisted in Sims' goal.

Cat Solberg made four saves for the Lady Blues. The Lady Blues outshot Fontbonne 14-10.

Illinois College is now 2-2-1. They travel to Concordia University Chicago on Sunday.
