Men's golf wins dual with Ave Maria, 358-365

The Illinois College men's golf team won its first dual match of 2013, defeating Ave Maria University, 358-365, Thursday afternoon in Ave Maria, Florida.

Wilson Neill led the Blueboys with an 87. Wade Mathis and Christian Walker carded scores of 89. Koert Brown shot a 93.

IC also played four individuals. Logan Cronk shot an 85. Derek Ade shot an 87, Jacob Franke shot an 88 and Alec Bartz shot a 98. Ave Maria's James Chilemmi earned medalist honors, shooting a low round of 75.

The Blueboys are back in action on March 23 when they host a dual with MacMurray College.
