Four Illinois College starters scored in double figures but it wasn't enough as the Lady Blues fell to nationally ranked Cornell College Thursday night in Jacksonville. The Lady Blues lost to Cornell, ranked No. 17 in the latest d3hoops.com women's poll, 76-60.
Brittney Burgess posted a double-double with team-high totals of 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Blues.
Tiffany King added 12 and
Jill Friedrich and
Holly Wohltman scored 10 apiece. Burgess also had two blocks and two steals. Friedrich tallied four steals.
The Lady Blues fell to 6-14 overall and 4-11 in Midwest Conference play with the loss.
