Hannah McGinnis posted double-doubles and the Illinois College women's basketball team had a plus-30 rebound edge, but it wasn't enough as the Lady Blues lost, 87-75, Tuesday night at Knox College in Galesburg.
King tallied 17 points and 14 rebounds, while McGinnis added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Brittney Burgess nearly had a third double-double, with nine points and 11 rebounds.
Holly Wohltman and
Kelly Lonergan added 10 points each for the Lady Blues, who outrebounded the Prairie Fire 66-36.
The Lady Blues fell to 6-16 overall and 4-13 in Midwest Conference play.
