Lawrence's big first half sends Blueboys to 88-64 loss

Lawrence University built an early lead and cruised to an 88-64 win over the visiting Illinois College men's basketball team on Monday in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Spencer Campbell scored a team-high 19 points for the Blueboys, who trailed by as many as 31 points in the first half. Nathan Kohler added 17 points. Chris Marrs pulled down six rebounds.

The Blueboys fell to 3-3 overall and 1-3 in Midwest Conference play with the loss. They host Cornell College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
