The Illinois College women's basketball team fell to DePauw University, ranked No. 1 in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, on Saturday at the Midwest Challenge hosted by DePauw. The Lady Blues lost, 86-58, in Greencastle, Indiana.
Brittney Burgess and
Hannah McGinnis scored 15 points each for Illinois College.
Holly Wohltman and
Maddy Keith added eight and nine points, respectively. McGinnis pulled down nine rebounds.
The Lady Blues fell to 3-2 overall with the loss. They'll take on Illinois Wesleyan University in the consolation game on Sunday at the Midwest Challenge. The game tips at 2 p.m.
