Hannah McGinnis helped the Lady Blues to an 82-67 win over MacMurray College in the team's home opener on Wednesday night.
McGinnis tallied career high totals of 32 points and 24 rebounds in the win. She was 9-of-12 from the field and 13-of-15 from the foul line. Fourteen of her rebounds came at the offensive end.
Brittney Burgess added 13 points and four rebounds.
Holly Wohltman had 10 points and seven rebounds.
Emily Bystry chipped in five points and six steals.
The Lady Blues shot 35.8 percent (24-of-67) from the field, 21.7 percent (5-of-23) from 3-point territory and 67.4 percent (29-of-43) from the foul stripe.
The Lady Blues improved to 1-1 with the win. They host Grinnell College in their Midwest Conference opener on Saturday at 3 p.m.
