Audrey Brauer won two events while
Elisha Nelson and Brad Franke won one each on Saturday as the Illinois College swimming teams hosted a double dual Beloit College and Millikin University. The IC men lost to Beloit (122-46) and Millikin (112-38), while the IC women also lost to Beloit (113-72) and Millikin (112-78).
Brauer was victorious in both the 50-yard freestyle (27.03) and 200-yard backstroke (2:31.71). Nelson was first in the 100-yard freestyle (58.54) and third in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:48.14).
Amibeth Thompson was third in the 1,650-yard freestyle (23:14.61) and
Katia Swane-Barzowski was third in the 200-yard butterfly.
Franke was first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.22) and second in the 100-yard freestyle (51.72).
John Hoefert was second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:51.17).
The Illinois College swimming teams are back in action next Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan University.
