Women's tennis takes 9-0 win over Blackburn

The Illinois College women's tennis team earned its third dual victory in a row on Monday, topping Blackburn College by a 9-0 score at the Bellatti Tennis Complex in Jacksonville.

Tamar Norville, Holly Woelfel, Zippy Abdulmalik, Audrey Brauer, Jovanna Chavez and Brianna Pohlman all won singles matches for the Lady Blues. The doubles teams of Norville and Woelfel, Abdulmalik and Brauer, and Chavez and Pohlman, were also victorious.

The Lady Blues improved to 5-2 with the win. They travel to Monmouth College on Thursday.
