Women's soccer falls to Monmouth in overtime, 1-0

Monmouth College's Lauren Kellen scored just over three minutes into overtime to break a scoreless tie as Monmouth took a 1-0 win over the Illinois College women's soccer team Thursday at Monmouth.

Alex Ivie provided the assist on Kellen's goal. Monmouth outshot Illinois College 18-5. IC goalkeeper Cat Solberg made 10 saves.

The Lady Blues fell to 5-6-1 overall and 1-3 in Midwest Conference play. They host Grinnell College on Sunday at 11 a.m.
