Ashley Riley scored a game-tying goal from the penalty spot just before halftime but Cornell College scored a pair of second-half goals en route to a 3-1 win over Illinois College on Saturday in Mt. Vernon, Iowa.
Bethany Sievers scored for the hosts in the eighth minute, but Riley's penalty kick knotted things up in the 43rd minute. Cornell goals from Holly Herzig and Emily Snider, however, helped the hosts pull away in the second half.

The Lady Blues fell to 6-8-2 overall and 2-5-1 in Midwest Conference play. They travel to Beloit College on Saturday.
