The Illinois College men's and women's swimming teams were topped by Beloit College Saturday at Beloit, Wisconsin. The Beloit men won 102-86. The Beloit women won 143-77.
Jonah Macke-Booth won both the 500-yard freestyle (5:14.23) and 1,650-yard freestyle (18:47.8). Brad Franke won the 100-yard butterfly (58.41) and 200-yard freestyle (1:53.38). Tom Deppe was best in the 100-yard backstroke (59.69), Xander Benziger won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.26) and John Whitney won the 50-yard freestyle (23.18).
Elisha Nelson won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.85) and Taylor Brien won the 50-yard freestyle (29.23).
