The Illinois College women's tennis team dropped a pair of matches in a triangular at Lake Forest College on Saturday. IC lost to Cornell College and Lake Forest by 9-0 scores.
Tamar Norville came closest to posting a win for the Lady Blues in the match against Cornell, losing in the No. 1 singles match by scores of 7-5, 6-4.
Kavita Patel,
Zippy Abdulmalik,
Kassey Black,
Audrey Brauer and
Josephine Oshiafi lost in singles matches. The doubles teams of Norville and Patel, Abdulmalik and Brauer, and Black and Oshiafi also came up short.
IC fell to 0-2 with the losses. The Lady Blues are back in action Wednesday at Millikin University.
