Bianca Savarese scored her fourth goal of the season but it wasn't enough as the Illinois College women's soccer team suffered a 4-1 loss Sunday at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin.
Saverese scored in the 14th minute to offset an early goal from St. Norbert's Katie Vanden Avond, but Vanden Avond scored again just before halftime and the hosts never trailed again. Jaci Kulow and Brooke Christensen scored in the second half to salt away the win.
Illinois College was outshot 20-6. IC goalkeeper
Cat Solberg recorded five saves.
The Lady Blues fell to 3-5 overall and 0-2 in Midwest Conference play with the loss. They host Eureka College at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
