Women's tennis team beats Millikin, 6-3

The Illinois College women's tennis team scored its first win of the season, a 6-3 victory over Millikin University, Wednesday in Decatur.

Tamar Norville (6-0, 6-1), Zippy Abdulmalik (6-1, 6-1), Audrey Brauer (6-1, 7-5) and Josephine Oshiafi (6-4, 4-6, 10-7) won in singles play. The doubles teams of Norville and Kavita Patel (8-0) and Abdulmalik and Brauer (9-8) were also winners.

IC improved to 1-2 with the win. The Lady Blues travel to Monmouth College Thursday.
