Lady Blues fall to unbeaten Cornell, 75-56

Brittney Burgess scored a team-high 17 points but it wasn't enough as the Illinois College women's basketball team fell Wednesday night at unbeaten Cornell College. The Lady Blues lost 75-56 at Mount Vernon, Iowa.

Tiffany King chipped in 10 points for Illinois College. Hannah McGinnis and Paige Cullison added eight and nine points, respectively, and McGinnis pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.

Illinois College fell to 5-6 overall and 3-3 in Midwest Conference play with the loss.
