Lady Blues come up short at Grinnell, 67-50

Hannah McGinnis and Tiffany King posted double-doubles but it wasn't enough as the Illinois College women's basketball team suffered a 67-50 defeat Tuesday night at Grinnell College.

McGinnis tallied 12 points and 15 rebounds, while King added 14 points and 11 rebounds, for the Lady Blues. Holly Wohltman and Brittney Burgess chipped in eight and nine points, respectively. Paige Cullison dished out four assists.

Illinois College fell to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in Midwest Conference play with the loss.
