Five Illinois College players scored in double figures Tuesday night as the Blueboys handed the Grinnell College Pioneers their first loss of the season. Illinois College won 123-114.
Nathan Kohler scored a team-high 28 points for the Blueboys.
Isaac Grapperhaus added 23 points, while
Brandon Berry chipped in 21 points and team-high totals of 14 rebounds and six assists.
Zeke Light scored 17 points off the bench and
Justin Smith finished with 11.
The Blueboys shot 61.8 percent from the field, 56.5 from the 3-point line and 66.7 percent from the foul stripe.
Grinnell's Jack Taylor, who scored an NCAA-record 138 points on November 20, tallied a game-high 37 points in Tuesday night's contest.
Illinois College improved to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in Midwest Conference play with its third straight win.
