The Illinois College men's basketball team fell to Lawrence University in both teams' Midwest Conference opener Sunday afternoon in Jacksonville. Lawrence won 78-76.

Nathan Kohler led IC with 19 points. Isaac Grapperhaus and Brandon Berry scored 16 points each. Justin Smith had five rebounds. Kohler had six assists and three steals.

IC fell to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the Midwest Conference with the loss. The Blueboys head to Monmouth College Wednesday night.
