Women's tennis takes 5-4 win over Millikin

The Illinois College women's tennis team scored a 5-4 win over visiting Millikin University Wednesday afternoon in Jacksonville.

Tamar Norville, Zippy Abdulmalik and Audrey Brauer won in singles action. The teams of Norville and Kavita Patel, and Abdulmalik and Brauer were winners in doubles play. The match started outdoors but was moved indoors due to rain.

Illinois College improved to 4-6 with the win. The Lady Blues head to the Midwest Conference Championships in Madison, Wisconsin, next weekend.
