Women's soccer falls to Lake Forest, 3-0

Three second-half goals scored by Lake Forest College provided the difference as the Illinois College women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat Sunday in Jacksonville.

Holly Lesperance scored for Lake Forest just after halftime to break a 0-0 tie. Courtenay Raymond scored three minutes later and Michelle Greeneway scored in the 67th minute to bring the game to its final score.

Lake Forest outshot the Lady Blues 29-10. IC goalkeeper Cat Solberg made 12 saves.

IC fell to 7-8-2 overall and 3-4-2 in Midwest Conference play with the loss.
