Charles Ruble enters his fourth season as an assistant football coach at Illinois College. Ruble works primarily with defensive linemen.

Ruble earned a bachelor’s degree from Illinois College in 2005. He later earned a master’s degree from Ball State University. He currently teaches at Washington Middle School in Springfield, where he serves as head track and field coach. He has previously coached at Springfield High School, Springfield Lanphier High School and Louisiana (Mo.) High School.

Ruble and his wife, Lauren, reside in Murrayville with their children: Bradey, Charles, Britney, Brenden, Hayden and Aubrey.
