Simoncelli rushed for 1,067 yards in 1982 and ranks among the Top 10 in career rushing at IC with 2,514 yards. After earning Rookie of the Year honors as a freshman in 1979, he went on to garner all-conference honors as a junior and senior. He is a two-time winner of the Conrad Noll Award as the team’s top offensive player and he earned MVP honors as a senior.
