A long-time Jacksonville businessman and former football captain in the 1943 season. Also starred in basketball for the Blueboys. Was active in community affairs here in Jacksonville, holding posts with the Jacksonville school board, Passavant Hospital, Red Cross, Chamber of Commerce and CACHE Drive.
