Illinois College Athletics

One of the most respected high school basketball coaches in Illinois. The former IC letterman (basketball, baseball) coached five Illinois state tournament teams and is a 10-time winner of “Coach of the Year” honors. As a result of his prep coaching record, Gourley was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1991. Gourley’s Danville High School team finished third at the IHSA 1992-93 state tournament.
