Captured MVP honors in 1987, 1988 and 1989 for his play at linebacker and won All-Midwest Conference football honors in each of those three seasons. In 1989, he was selected to receive the William J. Downer Award as IC’s top male athlete. In three seasons on the gridiron, Becker recorded 276 tackles, including 90 solo stops.
