A Little 19 all-conference football player in 1937, who went on to play for the College All-Stars against the Chicago Cardinals in 1938. He played some semipro football for the Washington, D.C. Presidents, but gave that up to concentrate on his law school studies. He worked for the United States government for 13 years before going into private practice.
